Morgan House is considered the most haunted place in Kalimpong, West Bengal. The history of thiis house says that this mansion was built by George Morgan to live happily with his wife after their marriage.
This house was the wedding venue of their marriage and everything was perfect for a few days but suddenly one night Mrs.
Morgan died due to an unknown cause and then after the incident, George Morgan left the mansion without doing any settlement of the property.
Later, after independence, the mansion was acquired by the Indian Government and finally, it was handed over to the West Bengal Tourism Department to run as a heritage hotel.
